About Erin

Erin has performed with a variety of ensembles across the globe, including the Florida Grand Opera, Palm Beach Symphony, Sarajevo Philharmonic, Las Vegas Philharmonic, South Florida Symphony, and Opera Tampa. Currently a freelancer in New York City, Erin plays in a variety of ensembles from pit orchestras on Broadway to Carnegie Hall, and with major artists including Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban.

Erin is a founding member of Calliope Brass, a new ensemble committed to the art of storytelling through brass. Combining the traditional brass quintet with a variety of guest performers, we present the narrative through a new medium. We draw upon personal experiences, traditional pieces, new commissions, and innovative arrangements to tell our stories in an exciting and engaging way. As a bonus, Calliope is composed of entirely female brass players. For more, visit http://www.calliopebrass.com.

Erin is on faculty at the Horace Mann School, and maintains a private horn studio in New York and via Skype. She studied with Daniel Grabois and Peter Reit at The Hartt School, and with Bill Bernatis at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
