Erin's mantra is, "Have horn, will travel". She's performed everywhere from Broadway and Carnegie Hall to the tiny island of Key West, to the Las Vegas Strip, to barns in France and historic theaters in Eastern Europe. She has appeared with groups including the Sarajevo Philharmonic, Florida Grand Opera, Opera Tampa, Las Vegas Philharmonic, New Haven Symphony, Springfield Symphony, South Florida Symphony, and with major artists including Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban.
Erin is a founding member of Calliope Brass, a new ensemble committed to the art of storytelling through brass. Through thoughtful concert programming, innovative multimedia, interactive performances, and direct audience engagement, we strive to create exciting experiences for our audiences. As a bonus, Calliope is composed of all women brass players.
Erin is on faculty at the Horace Mann School, and maintains a private horn studio in New York and via Skype. She studied with Daniel Grabois and Peter Reit at The Hartt School, and with Bill Bernatis at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Erin lives in The Bronx with her partner (in life and horn playing) Aleks Ozolins, and their dog Rudy.
